How to compose the slide
- Title: Add a title to your slide that summarizes the main point of the chart.
- Chart: The column chart on the left compares data from two different points in time, showing the total values and their breakdown into three series. - The values decrease from 1,431 units to 1,182 units, indicating a reduction of 17%.The pie chart on the right illustrates the sources of this reduction, explaining the distribution among the three series
- Customize the Series: The template has three series labeled "Series 1", "Series 2", and "Series 3". Replace these with descriptive labels that reflect the data you're plotting.
- Fill in Data: Update the data table in Excel that's linked to this chart.
- Body Bullets:
- Highlight 1: Start with a bullet point that highlights the biggest percentage. In the example you provided, this would be “XX% of reductions have come from [Series 2] and [Series 3].” Be sure to replace XX with the actual percentage and [Series 2] and [Series 3] with the corresponding labels in your chart.
- Highlight 2: Add another bullet point to highlight the second-largest reduction or another significant point in your data set.
